Ken

Two of the soldiers were T.J. York and W.H. Anderson. The page has the name and unit Basses' Regt. Appears on a list of prisoners of War paroled at Fayetteville , Ark. , October 29 , 1862 by order of Brig. Genl. Schofield. List dated Hdqrs. Army of the Frontier , Springfield , November 9 1862. I found some info today at the library but not conclusive. I also found on the Texas Board a message from Wm. Shea 4/30/ 2002 that sounds possible referring to the battle of Oxford Bend. The info at the library in the O&R Army was in Series I-13. More info on 22d Tx. Cav, Alexanders Regt. and Hawpe's Regt. than on Basses' Regt. Schofield's Report page 20 and .Hindman's page 49 I believe . also page 344 if I recall was Sam'l Curtis. Thanks , Charlie Peal P.s. the northern units were 1st Iowa Cav. and 7th Missouri Cav.
