I'm looking for information on my great grandfather, Thomas W.Dixon. I don't know for sure that he served in the army during the civil war but believe it is likely since he was eighteen at the time it started.I have found a Thomas Dixon in both the Nineth and the Twenty-second Ky. Inf. but dont know for sure if either one is my GGrandfather.I thought the best way to find out would be to try to see if either had applied for a pension and use the information off of the applications. Can anybody on this list tell me who and where to contact about Ky. civil war pensions?
