2nd KY Mtd. Rifles

According to Perry's "Jack May's War" on page 53 there was an incident involving the above on January 18-19, 1863. Did anyone ever stand trial or was there an investigation?
Who was involved from the 2nd Ky. Mounted Rifles?

Marilyn,

The person to ask on this topic is Jim Prichard, one of the co-authors of _10th Kentucky Cavalry, C.S.A., "May's-Trimble's-Diamond's 'Yankee Chasers'". He can be reached at the State Archives in Frankfort. I'll look in the same book and see if any specifics are given. Jim is so knowledgeable that it is frightening!
