Marilyn,

The last copy of the book that I saw for sale passed through my own hands about three years ago. I think that they printed up only 500 copies. It is a very desirable book as it is about the only one of its kind on the topic for this region. I think that I bought John's last copy. He signed it for me and I got Jim to autograph it for me later on. It is one of the most cherished texts on my shelf. See if the Johnson County Public Library, Floyd County Public Library, or Pikeville College Library would be willing to do interlibrary loan. I am certain that all three of these repositories had copies. If they won't loan it, see if they would be willing to make copies of specific sections of the book. For the material you are looking for specific to your investigation, I'd contact Jim Prichard and see what's in the holdings of the Archives.
