The Kentucky in the Civil War Message Board

Thanks Greg. Actually, I was looking for an answer that was a bit more up from and personal, from the men and their families. What I was looking for simply may not be available.
I seem to get bits and pieces of info that suggest that Owen county may have been a hot-bed for guerrilla activities... Can you, or anyone, confirm or deny this? I do know that Quantrill's men rode with a Captain Marion through Owen county to attack Georgetown. Apparently the plan was foiled by a girl with a Yankee boyfriend. Among Quantrill's men was a James Little, the first of Quantrill's men to die in Kentucky. James Little is among my (distant) cousins.
I'm afraid that my knowledge of Civil War Kentucky, at present, is very limited... ~don
