James Bray

My gg grandfather was James K. Polk Bray, according to his obituary he "enlisted in confederate service in Louisville, Kentucky under Gen. Morgan, he was known as one of the most daring soldiers under Morgan's command." That is quoted from his obituary but we can't seem to find any info about what regiment, so forth. He was the son of Joel and Elizabeth Bray. He was born 11 March, 1843 in Nelson County Kentucky and died 19 July, 1921 in Howell County Missouri. Any help is greatly appreciated.
