My GGG Grandfather, Dr. John M. Meyer, lived in Danville, KY, a few miles from Perryville. Supposedly, he treated the wounded at the Battle of Perryville. Are there any accounts of the doctors or wounded or medical treatment at this battle? Are there any sources that I could use to get more information and confirm this?
