There is a large Confederate cemetery in Jonesboro, where, I understand, those who were killed in the battle of Jonesboro were buried. I went there once, probably 20 years ago. It was well kept (apparently by the city), but of the several thousand interments, only two or three are identified. My recollection is that there are no markers, but I certainly would stand corrected.
