Re: Personal Accounts of 105th Ohio Infantry

Chuck: I have found only a few scraps about Terrill's Guards and Scouts. According to a pension dispute, they were formed in September and early October 1862, under Captain Lewis Christman (Chrisman). They served as guard and escort for General William R. Terrill, and were on the field at Perryville very early on, and encountered a body of Confederate Cavalry. After the general's death, they were apparently disbanded.

I have just had published a biography of General Terrill, as well as his family.

I will see what other material I have that may interest you.
