battle of bardstown

looking for information on men who were killed near bardstown ky october 4th, 1862 when col. wharton and his men met up with the union troops of the 1st, 4th, and 3rd ohio, 3rd Indiana troops. Rear guard of MCCook who served under Buell. i believe sgt charles f haughey who enlisted at camp wood was killed in this battle also. i show him with 2nd ky vol. cav. co. L i know i have seen where he was killed , but cant find it in adjutant report. any help on men killed in this battle would be appreciated. some have stated 15 or more men may of been killed , have seen number stated as high as 50 would like to have their names . the civil war museum is currently working on getting a roadside marker installed in area. our cost is $2,300.
