thanks have read the book they died by two s and tens several times excellent book i must say, all i know is we call our engagement the battle of bardstown and are sticking to it. if we put a marker up it will say battle of bardstown , not the skirmish all others call it. our historical records refer to it as battle of bardstown Joe Masterson www.civil-war-museum.org
