This is a great thread! I am from Paintsville and have quite a few descendants who fought in Co A 5th Ky Infantry and later Co B 10th Ky Cav. and they were at Ivy Mtn. I have a question about Green Gevedon. Do you know where he was from? Could it be Morgan Co? My 4th GG was Henderson Stacy who married a Virginia Gevedon. Both were from Va originally and settled in Morgan Co.
