I know that my GGGG-father, his father, brothers and bro-in-law were paroled from the 5th at the end of the war after returning to Mt. Sterling Ky. from when Lee had surrendered. They all belong to the original 5th KY as well. They are buried with-in 2-3 miles of where I now live. I had one uncle of them who was KIA and one uncle who was captured and nearly died in a norther prison Camp, Camp Morton in Indiana. My GF who belonged to Diamonds's 10th, I do not have the info right now as to where he was mustered out but the adjutant of our camp does. He has an U.S. Govt. issued grave marker that was placed by the Sons of the Confederate Veterans with Diamonds 10th info on it. He is buried about 3 miles from me as well. I will get this info and post it.
