My GGGGF ( my mother's mother's line) was Andrew Jackson Cox who was a Lt. in the 5th Ky and his father Pvt. James, brothers Pvts. Joshua (KIA) , James and Feilding (captured P.O.W.) and Bro. -in-law Jordan Wills. My Grandfather (Pvt. Willis Brewer) of Diamonds 10th is actually my GGGGF of my mothers father's line. Both families lived within a couple miles of each other however, my GF of Diamonds's 10th was of the Brewer name in Wolfe County here in KY.
There were only 2 generations that I know of : ( Pvt.James Cox-father & son Lt. Andrew Jackson Cox. )
*All these men have a Confederate headstone marking their resting place set by the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
