Thanks. I saw an article in the Kentucky Explorer magazine from 2006 on the second battle of Whitesburg that says that Davis S. Fields states in his pension application that he was in the area with Lt Houck of the 13th Cav at this time. This was in April 1865. I have the roster of the 13th and haven't found him on it. I haven't seen a roster for the 10th Ky Mounted Rifles so don't know if he would be listed there. Have any idea where I could find his pension application?
