Re: Thomas Woodward's cavalry commands

My maternal great grandfather, L. M. Cason, (Leonadas Martin Cason), born in Jackson County, Tennessee1840, died 1911. Buried at Richmond Cemetery in Flynn's Lick, Tennessee. He left the 8th Tennessee Infantry, Co. K at Port Royal.. Later in the winter of 1861-62 he joined Woodward's 2nd Regiment, Kentucky Calvary, serving under a Captain Bill Gracey. After he joined with Woodward I have hit a brick wall in my research. Do you have any information on any of the privates that rode with Woodward or any other Information that may help me find where he served.

Many thanks,
Harry Anderson
