8th LA Infantry grave in Virginia: W.T.E. Rawls

20 feet West from the large confederate monument in the Manassas Virginia City cemetery is a small stone headstone labeled "W. T. E. Rawls, 8th LA VOL.

I believe it is the grave of Private William Rawls of Company G who died in 1861. Any additional information you can share about this man would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Manassas
