teacher, Res. Minden, La., single. Died Manassas, Sept. 8, 1861.

There is a magazine article written on the Minden Blues (Co G). This may also have some limited information. Article title The Minden Blues from Bull Run to Appomattox Court House. It was publised in teh North Louisiana Association Journal, in 1977. Author was William Thomas III.
