Rawls, William T. E., Private

William Rawls was a native of Mississippi. He was single and teaching in Minden when he enlisted in the Regiment at Camp Moore on June 23rd, 1861. William had barely arrived in Virginia when he became sick and died of typhoid fever at Camp Pickens, VA on Aug. 17th, 1861.
