Thanks very much, Virgil, for your reply and the information. Kenneth Byrd has replied to me on the Arkansas message board, which I appreciate. If you could email me any additional information you have on the locations above, or put me in touch with Mr. DeLee, I would really appreciate that. One of my motivations for finding the burial place of Edward Malone is to attempt to get a Confederate marker for him. I have already tried, a year ago, but the VA does not supply markers for soldiers whose burial places are unknown, at least not a couple of months ago when I called to check on the status of the application.
