All of the 28th Louisiana was with its brigade at Camden and later at Camp Magruder. You will find information about these movements in my book "The Civil War Reminiscences of Major Silas T. Grisamore, CSA" (LSU Press). I have no information that would explain a transfer from Company H to Company F. Unfortunately, I don't think that any of the muster rolls for the 28th around that time period survived the war. There likely was a hospital in the camp, and there may have been one or more hospitals established in Minden itself for the more seriously ill. Hope this helps a little.
