Re: Croatians in the Confederate Army

It seems unlikely to me that there would have been enough men of Croatian heritage in the South to make up four companies. If Croatians served, they probably did so in small numbers and as a part of companies composed of various ethnic groups. New Orleans had a large number of ethnic companies in the state militia, but I do not recall ever seeing anything about one made up of Croatians.
