Col. John Scott's gravesite is located in the Sims Family Cemetery, Woodsland Plantation, Sligo, Wilkinson County, Mississippi.
The cemetery is on private land and is not easily accessed by vehicle. The area is overgrown and needs quite a bit of cleanup and I have planned to attempt a cleanup project but due to several problems, have so far been unable to organize.
