My ancestor OC Vanlandingham was in the 14th Confederate Cavalry Regiment and Ogden's Louisiana Cavalry as well. Which of these
units were organized first? If I read your post correctly, it appears to have been the 14th. Just curious on this. OC Vanlandingham was from the parish of East Baton Rouge. Thanks for any additional information you can give me.
