Not certain of connection to Edwin. 1860 Census (Winn) 155/144 Lists Edwin, 47, b. SC (head) and John 18, AL, Wm. B., 16, AL, Davd, 13, AL and several other family members too young or female. A couple of female Holley/Holly's listed in other households, one nearby, one near Montgomery. My best guess would be that Edwin, although old for the day, John, and Wm. B., and even possibly David at 13 could have seen some duty.
