Eliajah Crawford, Private, Company L, 12th Regiment Louisiana Infantry,* enlisted February 26, 1862 at Homer, La. by Capt. M. O. Nelson for 4 months, detailed September 20, 1862 to make shoes for the company, detailed September 10, 1863 to make shoes & boots for the regiment, last recorded present on the July & August, 1864 muster roll, no further records

Note: There are no further surviving company muster rolls which deny's our knowledge of his subsequent service

* This company was successivly designated as Capt. Isaac L. Lennard's Company, (1st) Company B, and Company L, 12th Regiment Louisiana Infantry
