Miles, this is what I found;

Albert Major - Believed to be former Confederate with Company C 15th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry. Ewell's Corps; Johnson's Division; Nicholls' Brigade. This particular soldier has some of the makings for being with the 3rd Maryland Cavalry. He was captured during Gettysburg campaign and taken to Fort Delaware via Fort McHenry. He signed the note of being desirous of joining the Union Army however no mention of him being with a particular Union regiment if any. Accoring to the Union CMSR's he was with the 3rd Maryland Cavalry. There was a Albert Major listed as being born in Louisiana according to 3rd Maryland Cavalry records.

(there was one CMSR card for A. Major in the 10th Louisiana however it said see 15th Louisiana Infantry, therefore I believe his correct unit was the 15th Louisiana and not the 10th)

Francois Martin - Believed to be a former Confederate with Company F 10th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry. Ewell's Corps; Johnson's Division; Nicholls' Brigade. Confederate CMSR's list him as being a prisoner during Gettysburg campaign and is shown as being desirous in joining Union Army and being transferred to the 3rd Maryland Cavalry at Fort Delaware. Confederate CMSR's list him being born in France and Union CMSR's list him as being born in Switzerland.

Henry Meyer aka Henry Myers - Believed to be a former Confederate with Company F 10th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry. Ewell's Corps; Johnson's Division; Nicholls' Brigade. Confederate CMSR's list his name as Henry Myers and report him being born in Germany. Confederate CMSR's also list him as a prisoner during Gettysburg campaign and being desirous of joining Union Army and being transferred to Lieutenant Colonel Tevis commanding the 3rd Maryland Cavalry at Fort Delaware. He is also shown as having speical orders from Secretary of War; Edwin M. Stanton allowing former Confederates to enlist in the Federal Army. 3rd Maryland Cavalry CMSR's list him as being Henry Meyer and born in Prussia and enlisting at age 23 in September 1863. His physical description was gray eyes; brown hair; light complexion; and was 5'9" in height.

Pierre Tapie aka Peter Tapie - Believed to be a former Confederate with Company F 10th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry. Ewell's Corps; Johnson's Division; Nicholls' Brigade. Confederate CMSR's list his name as Pierre Tapie and being a prisoner during the Gettysburg campaign and of being desirous of joining Union Army and being transferred to the 3rd Maryland Cavalry at Fort Delaware. Confederate CMSR's list him as being born in France and Union CMSR's list him as being born in Switzerland.

Jules Delherbe aka Jules Delerbe - Believed to be former Confederate with Company I 10th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry. Ewell's Corps; Johnson's Division; Nicholls' Brigade. Confederate CMSR's list his name as Jules Delherbe and as a prisoner during the Gettysburg campaign and being shown as desirous in joining Union Army and being transferred to the 3rd Maryland Cavalry at Fort Delaware. Confederate CMSR's report him as being born in New York, while the 3rd Maryland Cavalry CMSR's report him as being born in New Jersey.

Edward Linder - Believed to be a former Confederate with Company K 10th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry. Ewell's Corps; Johnson's Division; Nicholls' Brigade. Confederate CMSR's list his name as Edward Linder and being a prisoner during the Gettysburg campaign and of being desirous of joining Union Army and being transferred to the 3rd Maryland Cavalry at Fort Delaware. The Confederate CMSR's list him as being born in France and the Union CMSR's list him as being born in Canada and being 24 years old when he enlisted in September 1863.

I had Henry Meyer but forgot to list him in the previous message, however there were four that I did not have and this points to a serious flaw in my research. I will no longer use the database that I have been using. Thanks for helping!
