Thanks guys. I guess the guy made a mistake at CHickamauga. It sounds like the Irish in the west were about as good as in the tiger brigades of the east. I think I did read in soldiering in the AOT that an Irish company did desert at one point, but maybe they were returned. Were the 16th and 25th ethnic or part ethnic soldiers?
