My gr gr grandfather,Richard Elijah Clark was from Randolph
County Ark. and joined the 8th Mo. infantry for about 3 months. He then is shown to be in Freemans Cavalry under Col Love and was captured at Fairplay Mo and sent to Rock Island Ill. and on to Point Lookout Md. He survived the war and died in Ark. at age 57.
