My greatgrandfather, Capt.James M. Chorn died on Nov. 18, 1864 in the Battle of Bald Prairie, MO. Does anyone have any information about this battle.
Also George H. Chorn, my grandfather, and Owen Chorn his brother served in the 9th MO Infantry under James Jasper Searcy. They were known as Searcy's Sharpshooters.
