Robert Lauderdale, Company K, Impressed 3yrs CSA, (co "C" Fraziers Batt), 2nd Lt, Born in Tenn, from Barry County, MO, Extra Duty as Forage Master Oct 8 - Nov 1, 1862, Resigned Nov 23, 1864, did not want to go before the Officers examination board, Resignation accepted.

I suggest you get a copy of the book, as there is a lot of detail about the struggles the 8th went through, which many confederates faced, and really shows the hardships faced.
