Leonard, I speak for myself in this matter or any other matter that I may discuss on this board. Shawn does not speak for me though he may well repeat what others have said.
The USCT was previously given mention, but not those that served the South. I did not give mention to any statistics any more than anyone previous, to that mention, had. My only point was that there were, in fact, those that did serve the South. Also of note, which no further mention was given, Mr. John Noland was proud that he had served Quantrill and proudly attended the Reunions in retrospect. At that point, Quantrill was dead and gone... I have no additional information to add, nor do I have any statements to defend. There were others, that is all.
