Gentlemen, thank you very much! Your suggestions have given me direction and I'm excited about researching the Blackwater engagement to gain an understanding of what transpired.

Abram Lewis moved to Bates County in 1872 and lived here until his death in 1913. I'm anxious to give him a 'place of honor' in our Border War/Civil War display. We definitely plan to make the journal available and I will let you know when I complete the project. Thank you, again.
