I have a friend named Forest Pedlar who has been doing research for a book he plans to publish, a Confedrate equivalent of Dyer's Compendium.

He told me that somewhere he encountered the diary of a surgeon in one of Fagan's brigades who wrote about Price's Invasion. He said it had appeared in some obscure journal of county history in Arkansas. Do you think that is possible?

I've tried to contact Forest but he does not answer my letters.
