You are indeed a prince. I thank you and Bruce.

Now, not to seem ungrateful, but to help clarify the questions I was asking as to what might be found in the "Missouri POW" book that I now have on order, note:

a. The jpeg image you sent me indicates that his "Capture" was on May 6 not March 6 as you say here and as Bruce said in his posting.

b. Your document says he was released the following day, May 7, whereas Bruce's source said that did not occur until May 15th.

So, 24 hours at the infamous Myrtle Hotel conjures up a rather different image than being such a 'guest' for over two months.

My point is not raised in any criticism, but does get to the questions I asked about what sources and what conclusions will be found when I get my copy of "Missouri POW".
