I am tring to find information in regards to the deaths of a Davis Family in Clinton County Missouri at the hands of Union supporters, home guard, or whatever faction in that area that could have been responsible for killing William T. Dec. 30, 1861, Asa E. May 18, 1862, & Ambrose B. May 19, 1862.
I have heard that this Family was thought to have been sympatetic to the Southern cause, however, I would like a more accurate historical point of view from a "Forum Member" that has this information.
