Don, I dont know if you remember me, but we met at the Quantrill Tour at Oak Grove. We have a mutual cousin-Cathy Gottsch. I did some research on your problem about thee Kerr's and have deducted that John Kerr and Nathan Kerr were brothers listed on the 1850 census from Taylor County, Kentucky. Father's name was John-Mother's name Jemima. They had a brother named William A., but he lived to a ripe old age. My belief is that the Quantrill William Kerr was the son of Caleb Kerr and Edith Leannah Stewart from Madison County, Kentucky living in Kansas City, Missouri in 1860. Of course you probably know that William was killed in winter of 1862/63 near independence. I hope this helps. Had dinner with cuz Cathy last night. Hope you are doing well with your treatments. Jay
