Great Post ! It would be interesting if a book similar to "leaders and battles of the Civil war" was published showing both sides of various irregular battles in the CW not necessarily limited to Mo . Easier said then done I know. Kirby do think it is accurate to say the Union forces had a better kill ratio hen the CSA irregulars. Judging from the ORs yes but has in all irregular conflicts there may be in inaccuracies .
