Thanks very much! Earlier this evening, it occurred to me that Henry Germinden's name might have been misspelled in the A.G.'s database. And, lo, I found a record for a Henry "Gemunden" among those who served in a Moniteau County EMM regiment, the 43rd. Looks like he was called to service with the EMM in both 1962 and 1863. The info you sent me shows there was a Henry "Garminden" serving with the 50th regiment out of Sedalia in 1864. Could indeed be the same person. His age would have been correct. But it doesn't seem anyone could get the name right regardless of where he served.
