Re: Morgan County October 10,1863

Jim, I think after Billy Monks and his Co. K of the 16th Mo. built their stockade at Licking in 1864, Bushwhacker Bill, Jamison, and the rest of the Phelps Co. "bad boys" took up residence on upper Eleven Points west of Thomasville.

There was a small book written about Bushwhacker Bill, if memory serves me that may have been the title. I don't know if there is a timeline or specific areas of operation or not. Possibly someone who lives at Hutton Valley and has a copy could enlighten us.
