Facts:

Talitha Winkler is found in the 1860 census in Livingston county enumerated prior to her marriage to James Ryder on Oct 2, 1860 by a JP in Livingston County MO. Marriage record found.

July 1 1863 draft record for James Rider listing his nativity as Vermont and showing failure to report
Dec. 1863 is registered in Jackson Twp, Livingston Co MO with an 1836 birthdate.

James Rider of Vermont birthdate 1836 is found in 1870 census in Nevada as a Miner.

Assumptions: Rider of Vermont is the same Rider of draft record as he is the only James Rider/Ryder in 1870 census with nativitiy of Vermont that can not be matched with all the other Jim/James Ryder/Rider's of Vermont listed in 1860 census and has a mtching birth year.

I've not found an 1860 census listing of a James Ryder of Missouri that I can attribute to be the James Ryder of Saline County Mo without further documentation or exclusion criteria.

Gay pitch in here if you like!
