I have had my senior nap and hopefully am thinking clearer. Having read of the sloppiness of the contractors who moved bodies after the war, can we say with certainty the trenches at Mexico, Centralia, and Sturgeon weren't opened, bones loaded in wagons, hauled to Jeff City, interred in another trench and taking the government count of 155, charged for that many and left with their money without ever actually counting.
