Thanks, George. I didn't have a physical description of him. I knew he'd been arrested , but didn't know how long he was in prison. I have spent the day running down his history. He came from a fine family, but was for sure one of the wild bunch for a time in Colorado before the war - running with Charley Harrison. But John C. Moore was a friend to him,too, at that time, and his upbringing took over when he met Nannie Wilson. He became Arkansas' adjutant general eventually and helped settle the Scott County war. He always loved his fancy and fast horses - won prizes and races with them. I appreciate your help.
