I am a DAR Registrar in Phoenix, AZ and am trying to help a prospective DAR member document the death date of her ancestor, Anderson C. Carter, and that he died in the Civil War in 1864. He was born on May 6, 1824 in Greene County, TN and moved with his wife, children, & relatives to McDonald Co., MO before birth of their fifth child in 1857/8 in MO. He was age 36 on the 1860 census of Rutledge Township, McDonald Co., MO.
