Hello George, thanks for the reply. Are you located in Missouri? I would love to have a copy of the book if that's possible, or at least borrow and read it. I may know of a company who could help with publication if you're still interested. I have seen the rosters of the unit online. I think I may have found a place where they camped, but will have to do some more research to be sure. The land owner's father remembered the soldiers being there and in the house during the war and always told stories about the camp, visits to the house, etc.. I will have to have a sit down with the family and write down their stories. Am hoping to recover some relics from the area and put together a history. Would be great if it turns out to have been Cochran's unit. I know where Cochran's farm was supposed to have been but it's on the other side of Marble Hill and I've not been by there as of yet.
