Re: Price's Missouri Expedition of 1864

Yes, an online site would be great.
Part of the reason I was always interested in that trip north was that my ggg uncle, Lt. Frederick Price rode with Gen. Sterling Price.
When they made it back to Arkansas, they visited my ggg grandfather, Fielding Price at his home in White County, Arkansas. They were in need of fresh horses as much as anything.
My ancestor was picked up in eastern Arkansas while on his way to connect with Sterling Price. My ancestor, Lt. Fielding Price of the 1st Arkansas CSA died in the Yankee Prison in Little Rock on Feb. 1, 1865. The story is about as sad as any southern tale you can hear.
Thanks and do send me that site, please.
Linda
