I was wondering if anyone could tell me the names of the hospitals that were in Columbus during the war. I have a Thomas J. Murphy, 38th Alabama, who died at the age of 18 on Oct. 25, 1862 at a hospital in Columbus, MS. That info is coming off of one of the 38th AL web pages. Thanks for any help.
