You need to write to the NARA and they will send you all the information you need about your person. You can do most of it on the internet.
I did that, it was only 17 dollars and worth it to know
where my ggrandfather died, I am not sure if he died after he got to the hospital in Columbus,MS., that is where the papers were filled out with the date of death. A nice soul on this website helped me locate his grave.
