I am told my gg grandfather was John Hampton Crocker, he was in Itawamba County Miss in 1860, may have been killed by sharpshooters in 1862, don't know if he was in the military in the civil war or not but there is a J B Crocker in the 41st Miss Inf, Co I and men from Itawamba Co. are in this regiment. Would like to find out if they are the same.

Comments on J.H Crocker are that he was sent home from Clear Creek, May 26, 1862 but on the roster there is not any information on his name.

Would like to hear from anyone who has information on J.H Crocker, that was in the 41st Reg. Ms Inf, Co. I
