Terry Brothers, Attala County

Just getting to another side of my family any input on these Great Men would be helpful.
(most of my info is from Grady Howell's books)
Capt. Lampkin Straughn Terry 15th. MS Inf.

Waller Quarles Terry co H 39th Regt Inf KIA Champion Hill my gg-grandfather

Joeseph Benjamin Terry 45th Regt Inf KIA

W. H. Terry 15th Regt Inf KIA

George P. Terry CO. G 30th Regt Inf KIA

This side of my Family didn't survive the war very well and I am starting to document their actions. Capt. Terry has a lot of info about him. GG-Grandmother went to Champion Hill and brought Waller Quarles home, I've found the cemetery where he was buried but not his grave. Story is that his funeral was interupted when a fight broke out between Waller's son (my g-grandfather)and a slave child when the little boys starting calling each other names and the slave called him a yankee. Would like to think it's true. Thanks
